MOT/Service Crew Laborer

Gibbs & Register, Inc. Florida's leading civil firm is seeking an experienced MOT/Service Crew Laborer.
Will be working in Punta Gorda market.
Reports Directly To: Foreman or Immediate Supervisor
Job Description: General labor required on jobsites
Must be able to perform the following tasks:
o Maintenance of Traffic monitoring, reporting, and coordinate placement of traffic devices.
o Flagging traffic
o Checking grade with survey instrument or string line
o Maintaining and/or installing silt fence, synthetic hay bales, floating turbidity barrier
o Turbidity monitoring
o Covering construction materials to protect from UV rays
o Complete Erosion Control and Maintenance of Traffic reports as needed (Day/Night)
o Organizing and maintaining reports and other general clerical work
o Coordinating laborers to perform various tasks on the project
o Lifting and shoveling up to 30 lbs.
o Ability to work in extreme heat conditions
o Must be able to mount and dismount off of vehicles and/or equipment
o Attend weekly safety meetings
o Climb vertical ladders
o Wear hard hat and work in dusty conditions
o General labor work/clean up
o Keep work area organized and safe



Job requires frequent lifting of 30 lbs., stretching, stooping, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and kneeling.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
