Security Officer II (Unarmed) - Overnight Shift

Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Security Officers! The Overnight shift Security Officer II position is unarmed and responsible for providing safety and security on Sunseeker Resorts owned and operated properties.
The Security Officer II will help protect guests, visitors and fellow employees and their belongings, as well as Sunseeker property.
Prior to resort opening, most positions will be exterior with exposure to heat and rain.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies, practices, and procedures.
Job Duties Follow the directives of the Security and Surveillance Departments chain of command Coordinate with law enforcement as necessary Deescalate disagreements between individuals and opposing parties Assist, direct, and/or Escort guests, visitors, vendors and colleagues when necessary Patrol all Sunseeker grounds/buildings (interior, exterior, parking lots, and structures) Sit or Stand post when scheduled/required until properly relieved Ensure all doors and gates are properly secured when applicable Respond to various situations as directed by the dispatcher, including incidents/disturbances, and calls for support from guest, colleagues, and the Security Chain of command Complete proper reports and/or security logs when necessary Monitor foot and vehicular traffic on Sunseeker Resorts owned and operated properties.
Ensure the confidentiality of all information (oral or written) relevant to the operating procedures, capabilities, equipment uses, and equipment locations, of the Security and Surveillance department Fulfill Surveillance/dispatcher duties when assigned Requirements Combination of Education and Experience will be considered.

High school diploma or equivalent Possess or be able to obtain a Florida state class D Security License Possess or be able to obtain a First Aid /CPR/AED certification Maintain certification with all issued firearms and defensive weapons and gear Valid drivers license and clean driving record Law enforcement, security, or military experience required Other Minimum Requirements Ability to work overnight shift (11pm-7:
